SEGUIN’S 4th GRADE FAMILY FOLK DANCE EVENING

Families of 4th Grade Students:

Thursday, October 19th at 6:30pm, we will have our first Seguin Family Folk Dance.  We are doing this so that the students can show you things they are learning in music AND so that you can dance with us!  You do NOT need to know how to dance and you don’t need to learn the dances ahead of time.  The children have been doing these dances and are very excited to teach you the steps that night.  This is the 4th Grade program for 2017-18.

REMEMBER!  Thursday night, from 6:30-7:30pm in the cafeteria, we will have our first Family Folk Dance featuring our 4th graders.  Here are a couple of important things to know ahead of time to help make things go smoothly:

·        Dress comfortably (especially your shoes!).  It may get a little warm in the cafeteria.

·        Coats can be placed in the Library, but it will not be locked.  You may want to leave your coat in the car.

·        If you have a child between the ages of 1 and 5, you may want to have another adult attend to help him/her while you are dancing.

·        This night is about being together, so PLEASE PARTICIPATE if you are able.  The students will LOVE having you dance with them.

·        Water will be provided and of course, we have a drinking fountain.
