Weatherford Spring Break Bucket List!

Spring Break has arrived and your kids are out of school for an entire week. While you want to have some fun and create memories as a family…we understand that entertainment venues and traveling can be expensive. So, we have listed some fun ways for your family to enjoy a “staycation” in Weatherford.

1. Take in a Kangaroo athletic event.

While our student athletes may not be in class…they are still working hard and representing our community! With the warmer weather there is no better time to watch our baseball, softball, and soccer teams winning the big game. Be sure to take pictures and share on social media using #RooPride!

While you can always find schedules to athletic events at weatherfordisd.com…we have provided you some options for Spring Break!

Baseball- Tuesday, March 14 @7:30

Softball- Tuesday, March 14 @5:00

Boys Soccer Senior Night- Friday, March 17 @7:30

2. Experience Weatherford Library.

We ALWAYS encourage students of all ages to take advantage of our district and public libraries! This year Weatherford Public Library is going all out to help keep your kids educated and entertained! Take a look at what they are offering! http://weatherfordtx.gov/1630/Spring-Break-2017

3. Cast a line at one of our many parks!

Weatherford offers several locations where you can try to reel in some supper and enjoy the great outdoors. Regardless of whether you catch a fish or go home hungry…you will experience quality time with your kids and create some memories in the process.
