Nancy Sonnevelt

 Since 1979 I "had it in me to help people" said Ms. Sonnevelt.

She earned her Master's degree in Criminal Justice and says she knows that she can make a difference.

And since she likes  teaching, Weatherford High School was a good place for her to end up. Even though she retired after 28 years with the Fort Worth, Texas police department, and she had already taught a generation of students at the college police academy, she wanted to show high school students the ropes.
