The WHS Blue Belle Dance and Social Officers were hostesses
at the Southwest Autogroup Car Show on May 23 sponsored by the Parker County
Cruisers.
Many thanks to the Parker County Cruisers and Southwest Ford for
helping the officers raise $1,000 toward their annual leadership and dance camp
to be held in Dallas
June 6-9.
Storybook Summer arrives at Austin Elementary

Community Education Advisory Council’s Storybook Summer Program.
The advisory
council’s effort, now in its 15th year, provides books for summer reading to
every kindergarten student in ParkerCounty.
Each student’s books come personalized with
their name on the inside.This year, the
Storybook Summer Program will distribute nearly 2,800 books to the children at
each of the county’s elementary campuses. The program is funded by the generous
donations of civic organizations, local businesses, and individuals.
