The advisory council’s effort, now in its 15th year, provides books for summer reading to every kindergarten student in Parker County.

Each student’s books come personalized with their name on the inside. This year, the Storybook Summer Program will distribute nearly 2,800 books to the children at each of the county’s elementary campuses. The program is funded by the generous donations of civic organizations, local businesses, and individuals.
