Texas weather changes at the drop of a hat, and Old Man Winter continues hang around a little while longer.

According to www.nbcdfw.com/weather (KXAS-TV’s website), the temperature is expected to drop to 29 degrees (and some other websites are even predicting as low as 27 degrees) by Tuesday morning.

Although the recent rain is supposed to clear out by this evening, there may be numerous icy spots on the roads in the morning.
Also, there is a 70-percent chance of rain/snow on Thursday but, according to NBC-5, temperatures aren’t expected to reach below freezing.

With all this in mind, Weatherford ISD parents are reminded to please dress students accordingly and continue to check inclement weather status on the WISD website for up-to-the-minute information.
