*Campus Flu Shot Clinics for WISD Students and Staff Only. Clinics will last until the final student has been seen. If a parent wishes to be present at the time of the vaccination of their child, they need to be present at the beginning of the clinic.
Details
Flu Shot consent forms will need to be filled out prior to receiving the flu vaccination. Forms can be found on the Health Services page on the Weatherford ISD website.
Fee
• The Parker County Hospital District will file for most commercial insurance.
• $20 for those without insurance
• Age 6 months to 18 yrs. old with insurance – insurance will be filed by Parker County Hospital District
• Age 6 months to 18 yrs. without insurance or underinsured – no cost
WISD Employees
• TRS Aetna tiers ActiveCare 1-HD and ActiveCare 2 (or also listed as Aetna Choice POS ll) -- these tiers will cover PCHD administering the Flu vaccine at no cost to the employee.
• Anyone with Aetna Select (Open Access) Network or Aetna Whole Health (Baylor Scott & White) -- these plans will NOT cover PCHD administering the flu vaccine.
