Dr. Beau Rees, Weatherford ISD Superintendent of Schools

Dr. Beau Rees joined Weatherford ISD as Superintendent of Schools in June 2020. This school year marks the 21st  year Dr. Rees has served as a Superintendent of Schools. Prior to accepting the Superintendent position in Weatherford ISD, he served as Superintendent of Montgomery ISD and Graham ISD.

Dr. Rees holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in political science; a master’s degree from Abilene Christian University in educational administration; and a doctorate in educational leadership from Texas Tech University. Dr. Rees has been a U.S. History teacher, Texas History Teacher, World Geography Teacher, Physical Education teacher, Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal and High School Principal. 

Dr. Rees and his wife, Billie, have been married 30 years and have three daughters. He enjoys being an active member of the community and currently serves as president of the Rotary Club of Weatherford, as a Board Member on the Tarrant Area Food Bank West, Texas Health Community Impact Council, Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, and the Parker County Economic Development Council.
