Adam Feriend was elected to the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees in 2019 and has been a resident of Weatherford for 20 years. While only newly elected, Feriend has been extremely involved with Campus Improvement Teams, PTA and Boosters at Mary Martin Elementary, Tison Intermediate and the High School since 2015.

 

Feriend is Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of JRJ Construction, a commercial construction company based in Weatherford, TX. He is a 1999 graduate of Rice University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received both a BBA and BM degree. He then graduated Summa Cum Laude 2001 from Southern Methodist University with a MM degree.

 

Adam has a heart for the community in which he lives and throughout the world. Feriend currently serves actively on the following boards: Weatherford Chamber Board, Parker County Economic Development Council Executive Board, First Financial Bank-Weatherford Board of Trustees, Grace House Ministries Board, and Center of Hope Construction Careers Now Program-Founding Member. Feriend has also served on the East Parker County Chamber Board from 2007-2011, in which he served as Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman in 2010. Feriend received the East Parker County Chamber ‘Man of the Year’ Award in 2008, and was ‘Member of the Year’ in 2009. Feriend was a part of the inaugural Leadership Weatherford Class of 2017. Feriend is actively involved at North Side Baptist Church, where he has served as Children’s Choir Director since 2009, and invested in over 1000 children. He is a deacon, men’s ministry leadership team member, and has led young married couples since 2014.

 

Adam has been married to his wife Mende for twenty years and has three boys: Adison-WHS Class of 2022, Asher-WHS Class of 2025, and Ace-WHS Class of 2028.
