The mission of the Curriculum and Instruction department is to provide leadership and support for research-based best practices in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development.

Department Goals
 
 
- Provide a challenging technology-enriched curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Provide district-wide assessments aligned with state standards.
- Provide research-based strategies and methodologies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Implement a Response to Intervention protocol to monitor progress of all students.
- Provide ongoing professional development for all instructional staff.

Our mission is to provide high-quality science instruction aligned with the curriculum that is rigorous, differentiated, and conceptual by offering leadership and support of teacher knowledge and implementation of best practices.
