The first day of school for WISD is Wednesday, August 18th. Doors will open at 7:35 a.m. Upon arrival, students will proceed to their first period class. First period rosters will be posted in the hallways for student reference. A hard copy of the student’s schedule will be issued in first period.
The first day of school will be dedicated to community building, getting to know you activities, learning about our processes, procedures, and culture, and building new relationships. We recognize that over the course of the summer, your student may have reflected on his/her course selections and may wish to adjust that schedule. To the best of our ability, we will work to accommodate schedule change requests as quickly as possible. We thank you in advance for your patience with this process.
