WISD Schools and Offices Closed - February 3, 2023

For the safety of our students, staff, and families, and out of an abundance of caution, Weatherford ISD schools and offices will be closed on Friday, February 3rd.

Weatherford ISD administrators spent the afternoon monitoring roads in our school district that stretches from near Granbury to Springtown. While some roads are safe for travel, many of the less traveled roads in rural and residential areas remain covered in ice. With temperatures expected to be well below freezing tonight, we anticipate hazardous road conditions again tomorrow morning as any water on roads refreezes.

We look forward to seeing our students and staff back at school on Monday, February 6th.
