WHS boys basketball
The varsity and junior varsity teams are in Decatur for a weekend tournament which runs through Saturday. Their next home games will be Monday against Saginaw (JV - 6:30 p.m.; varsity - 8 p.m.).
The freshmen will host Arlington Sam Houston on Jan. 16 for a District 6-4A matchup (9A - 6 p.m.; 9B - 7:30 p.m.).
WHS girls basketball
The next home game for the Lady Roos will be Tuesday against Arlington Lamar in a District contest (JV - 6 p.m.; varsity - 7:30 p.m.). The freshmen girls will travel to Arlington on Monday to face Lamar beginning at 6 p.m.
