WHS Career and Technical Education students win at recent contests

WHS Criminal Justice Club
Weatherford High School's Criminal Justice Club placed third in Felony Traffic Stop at last week's state competition.
 
Club members consisted of Kaci Jones, Ethan Blankenship, and Colby Herring. The instructor was Marie Ornelas.
 
 
 
WHS Technology Student Association Club
Weatherford High School's very own Technology Student Association (TSA) Club made a strong showing at last week's State TSA competition in Waco.
 
More than 300 students competed at the state event, and Weatherford's results are listed below:
WHS Ninth Grade Center Results
Austin Christmas - second place in CNC Design
Joel Bell - second place in R/C Multi Rotor
AJ Morar - third place in R/C Multi Rotor
James Moreno - third place in Digital Photography
 
NGC's Soap Box Team (aka Code Blue) also placed fourth. The team consisted of Austin Christmas (driver), Tatum Kellerman (crew chief), and Riley O'Neal (pit crew).

Hannah Macune - second place in 5 Minute Computer Animation
Clayton Beardon - first place in 30-Second Commercial
Alton Wiggs - first place in 30-Second Commercial

Braedaon Meadors - second place in Architectural Design

Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
Six members of the Weatherford High School FCCLA chapter competed at the state meet last weekend.

Rachel Elbers, Rachel Young, and Conner Lang - third place in Food Innovations.
Emily Norris, Caitlin Cook, and Alex Watson - fifth place in Food Innovations.
