WHS Blue Belle Captain to Perform at Texas Inaugural Ball

WHS Blue Belle Senior Captain, Sophie Pasternak, has been selected as a participant at the Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Gala in Washington D.C. on January 19th, 2017. Only 25 All-State members will be performing at this prestigious event. Performers will learn a piece choreographed by Eve Robinson, director of the Alvin High School Jacketeers. The piece will be performed at several venues and times during the ball. Sophie will be wearing the Blue Belles traditional dance team uniform with a sash representing Weatherford.

The event will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on the banks of the Potomac River. Guests will include Texas state officials, dignitaries, and thousands of guests from all over the United States
