JV Girls Golf
Members of the WHS junior varsity girls golf team took second place at the Burleson High School Invitational Monday at the Southern Oaks Golf Course.The team consisted of Hollie Lamb, Kennedy Boyd, Allison Belcher, Brooke Silvey, and Olivia Wallin. Lamb had the lowest score for the girls at the tournament and took first place individually.
JV Boys Golf
Two JV boys golf teams traveled to Haslet and placed second and third in the Willow Springs Golf Course tournament last week. Members of the second-place team included Johnathan Olivares, Chandler Buchfink, Cade Clement, and T.J. Whitrock. Third-place teammates were Bryce Akins, Tyler Cone, Hunter Cartwright, and Lucas Clarke. Akins finished third as an individual medalist.
