Parker County Hospital District

The Parker County Hospital District Outreach Program was established in 2008 to help meet the health care needs of Parker County residents. Being mobile was important to the program to enable us to reach the outlying areas. The ability to be on location at local businesses, churches and schools makes it easy and cost effective for residents and families.

Mobile Services provided include:
* Child and Adult Immunizations
*Cholesterol Screening
*CPR Training
* Blood Pressure
* Glucose Testing
* State Certified Hearing and Vision Screening
* Glo Germ Program

School Based Vaccine Programs
Making this service available at the schools wills assist parents in making sure their children get immunized, also benefitting the schools in reducing the level of sickness and missed days of school due to the flu.

Children are a tremendous amplifier of the flu. A child is able to infect the family and whole community much more effectively than an adult. By vaccinating children, we can protect the elderly and the very young.
