Board of Trustees Adopts Tax Rate for 2021-2022

Weatherford Independent School District adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 3.5 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $42.

However, the overall tax rate for Weatherford ISD (comprised of both Interest & Sinking and Maintenance & Operations) was lowered from $1.32720 to $1.2393.

Over a three-year period, the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees have lowered the overall tax rate by more than $.2079.
