Weatherford ISD is proud to announce that 15 Weatherford High School students have been honored as part of the College Board National Recognition Programs for excelling in their classrooms and on College Board assessments. These programs create pathways to college for students from underrepresented communities by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country.
These students scored in the top 10% of Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) test takers who identify as one or more of the following: African American, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, or attend school in a rural area, or are from a small town.

In order to be eligible for this distinction, students must take the PSAT/NMSQT during their sophomore or junior year, achieve the minimum requested PSAT/NMSQT scores, earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and identify as African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Indigenous, and/or attend school in a rural area or small town.
