WISD Board of Trustees Adopts Tax Rate

Weatherford Independent School District adopted a tax rate that will effectively be raised by 1.64% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $16.70.

However, the overall tax rate for Weatherford ISD (comprised of both Interest & Sinking and Maintenance & Operations) was lowered from $1.2219 to $1.0365.

Over a five-year period, the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees have lowered the overall tax rate by $0.3109.
