Weather Information Regarding the Homecoming Parade

While we welcome the rain that is forecast for Thursday, September 14th, we also know it could affect our ability to hold the WHS Homecoming Parade. As a result, Weatherford ISD administrators will be closely monitoring tomorrow’s weather.

We do not anticipate canceling the parade for light rain, however, if the forecast indicates there will be heavy rain, strong winds, and/or lightning during the staging period or during the parade, we will need to make a decision with everyone’s safety in mind.

Staging for the parade is scheduled to begin Thursday afternoon at 4:30 pm; the parade is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm.

Should we need to cancel the parade due to weather, we will announce by 4:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
