The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees has begun the process of selecting the district’s next superintendent and will be seeking input from staff, parents, and community members along the way.
Following Superintendent Dr. Beau Rees’s announcement of his intent to retire in the summer of 2026, the Board selected CCR Educational Consultants to guide the search. The firm brings extensive experience working with Texas school districts and emphasizes a structured process that incorporates community feedback.
As part of the search, Weatherford ISD will provide opportunities for stakeholders to share their perspectives through an online survey. Input gathered will help shape the leadership profile used by the Board as it evaluates candidates.
