Weatherford ISD has named Theresa Pollok as executive director of curriculum and instruction.
Pollok currently serves as director of curriculum in Mansfield ISD, where she supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional programs across the district. In her role, she works closely with district leadership and campus teams to ensure alignment of curriculum, assessment, and professional learning.
She previously served as director of advanced academics in Mansfield ISD, overseeing gifted and talented, AVID, and advanced academic programs, along with supporting college, career, and military readiness initiatives. Her experience also includes roles as an assistant principal of instruction and ELAR coordinator, where she led professional development, data analysis, and campus instructional improvement efforts.
Pollok earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from The University of Texas at Arlington. She also earned a Master of Science from Pace University and is currently completing her superintendent certification.
She will oversee curriculum and instructional programs across the district in her new role.
