WISD Board Approves Compensation Increase for 2026-27

The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district’s 2026-27 compensation increase during its June meeting, reinforcing the district’s commitment to attracting, supporting, and retaining exceptional employees.

The approved compensation increase includes:

  • Classroom teachers will receive a 2.5% general pay increase through the Classroom Teacher New Hire Schedule for 2026-2027, which includes the TASB-recommended market and midpoint adjustment.

  • All other full-time and part-time annualized employees will receive a 2.5% general pay increase based on the midpoints of the 2025-2026 compensation plan.

  • Continued participation in the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program, providing opportunities for eligible teachers to earn significant additional compensation based on classroom effectiveness

“This increase reflects our shared belief that attracting, supporting, and retaining exceptional employees is one of the most important investments we can make as a district,” Superintendent Dr. Sean Scott said.

Weatherford ISD remains committed to maintaining competitive compensation while recognizing the dedication and service of employees across the district.
