Weatherford ISD has named Bethany Cichonsky as the district's new director of finance.
Cichonsky brings more than 10 years of experience in governmental and nonprofit financial leadership, most recently serving as a senior manager with Brady Martz, PLLC. In that role, she advised public-sector and nonprofit organizations on financial reporting, compliance, operational controls, and strategic risk management while overseeing complex audit engagements. She also presented financial results and recommendations to governing boards, councils, and audit committees.
Throughout her career, Cichonsky has managed financial reporting and single audit engagements for governmental and nonprofit entities, advised organizations on compliance with federal and state funding requirements, and partnered with finance departments to strengthen financial operations and internal controls.
Cichonsky earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Shawnee State University and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2017.
She will assist in overseeing the district's finance operations, supporting responsible fiscal management and compliance across Weatherford ISD.
