Weatherford ISD Launches Parent University

Weatherford ISD is excited to introduce Parent University, a new series designed to educate, empower, and connect parents and families with the tools, resources, and information they need to support their child's success.

Throughout the 2026–27 school year, Parent University will offer free monthly sessions on a variety of topics that impact students and families. Whether you're new to Weatherford ISD or have been part of the Roo family for years, these sessions are designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school by providing practical information, answering common questions, and connecting families with district staff and resources.

Topics throughout the year will include:

  • WISD communication tools
  • Curriculum and academics
  • Special programs and student support services
  • Skyward and student attendance
  • Bullying prevention

… and so much more!
