For 20 years, every Roo touchdown has meant more than points on the scoreboard. Thanks to Cox Financial Group, those touchdowns have added up to more than $65,000 in support for Weatherford ISD students.
Weatherford ISD recognized Randy and Shari Cox of Cox Financial Group during the Oct. 30 home football game, celebrating two decades of giving back to Roo Nation.
Each season, Cox Financial Group donates $100 for every touchdown scored by the Roos. The donations support the booster clubs for Weatherford High School football, band, Blue Belles and cheerleaders.
During the game, Randy and Shari presented a check to Superintendent Dr. Sean Scott, continuing a tradition that has supported generations of Weatherford ISD students.
