Black Team – The team came out pushing the ball up the court, which led to a layup by Jordan Warder. The first of his 12 points that led the team in scoring and gave them a needed boost to the offence. The game went back and forth the whole game until Joshua pulled away at the end to win the game 38-27. Madison Mess turned in a good defensive showing with 4 blocked shots and several key rebounds.
White Team – The white team started out putting up a good defensive front and holding the opponents to just four points in the first period. Lukas Loran and Jerry Alvarez Jr. both had 5 points each to lead the team in scoring. Defensively the whole team stepped up and kept the opponents shot opportunities to a minimum. They were led defensively by Douglas Hudson who led the team with 3 steals. They finished with a 24-16 win for Hall Middle School.
Blue Team – The blue team started out strong and took an early lead that was spurred on by Deandre Curry’s three point shot. They went into the half with a seven point lead. In the second half despite 8 points by Johnny Owens and two blocked shots by Harold Otey they were unable to hold onto the lead. The blue team lost a close on by the score of 34-28.
