Adrian Jones scored twice, Davies opened the game with a kickoff return for a touchdown, Corbin Campbell scored 3 TDs and had 1 passing, Ethan Irsik scored once, Cody Henderson had a touchdown catch, and Santana Sherman summed it up with a score to end the game.
Defensively, the Roos had five total turnovers, but they also recorded their first shutout of 2014. Adrian Jones, Hunter Mitchell, Dominic Davie, and London Williams all had interceptions, and Tim Parker recovered a fumble. Dylan McNall and Zeke Hernandez also stood out defensively.
Next game: Freshmen "A" and "B" teams will travel to Arlington Sam Houston on Oct. 23. The "B" team game is set for 6 p.m., with the "A" team to follow accordingly.
