Crockett Elementary Principal Named

The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees approved Marie Hernandez as principal for Crockett Elementary at their Special Meeting held on June 14, 2016.

Marie has 10 years in public education and began her Weatherford ISD career in 2010 as a teacher at Crockett Elementary. In 2012 she was named Campus Teacher of the Year. She later served as Assistant Principal at Hall Middle School (2013-2015) and Curtis Elementary in 2015-2016. Marie holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Elementary Education and received her master’s from Lamar University in Educational Leadership. Marie and her husband, John, have two children – Ava and Adelynn.
