Superintendent's Office

Dr. Sean Scott joined Weatherford ISD as Superintendent of Schools in 2026 following official approval by the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees. He brings more than 25 years of experience in Texas public education and a strong background in district leadership, curriculum and instruction, student services, human resources, and district operations. Prior to joining Weatherford ISD, Dr. Scott served as Deputy Superintendent of Mansfield ISD, where he helped oversee the daily leadership and management of the district.

Dr. Scott’s experience in public education includes service as a teacher, coach, principal, and district administrator. During his time in district leadership at Mansfield ISD, the district expanded student opportunities, experienced academic growth, and became a national leader in college and career readiness.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, Dr. Scott holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership as well as master’s degrees in Business Administration and Education.
