WISD Facility Planning Committee

Planning for Weatherford ISD's Future

Following the unsuccessful 2025 bond election, Weatherford ISD is beginning a new community-led facility planning process. The Facility Planning Committee will review district needs, examine community and election feedback, evaluate possible solutions, and develop a fiscally responsible recommendation for the Board of Trustees.

No outcome has been predetermined. The committee will evaluate the district's needs, available funding options, community feedback, and potential solutions before developing its recommendation.

What Will the Committee Study?

The committee will engage in discussions about:

  • Demographic Reports and Enrollment Projections
  • Accommodating Student Programs and Planning for the Future
