WISD Announces Director of Transportation

The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Ranjan George as the new Director of Transportation at the June 14, 2021 regular meeting.

Mr. George comes to Weatherford ISD with over 20 years of experience in school district transportation. He began his career in education in 2000 where he served as the Director of Transportation, Facilities, Maintenance and Custodians for Grape Creek ISD for twelve years. During that time, he was twice named the Support Staff Employee of the Year for the district. Mr. George also has experience at Waco ISD and Robinson ISD. Since 2014, he has served as the Director of Transportation for Carroll ISD.
