Weatherford ISD SHAC Applications

The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) assists the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the health education program. The council will address the continued implementation of a coordinated health program including health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, counseling, healthy school environment, staff health promotion and family/community involvement.

In order to serve on the SHAC, applicants must be a parent of a student currently enrolled or a current resident in Weatherford ISD.

If you are interested in serving on the SHAC, please complete the application below. All applications will be reviewed and notifications of membership will be sent out after board approval in August.

The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) meets 4 times per year. All of the meetings are virtual on Mondays from 4:15-5:15. The meeting dates for 2022-2023 are September 19, November 28, January 30, and March 27.
