Weatherford ISD Mourns the Loss of Marilyn Ross

Weatherford ISD mourns the loss of school custodian Marilyn Ross who passed away following a brief battle with cancer.

Marilyn was a beloved staff member in our District. She joined the Weatherford ISD family in August 2013 and worked at Crockett, Seguin, the Ninth Grade Center, and Weatherford High School. Marilyn also worked many of our District and special events including Friday Nights at Kangaroo Stadium, athletic events at the Activity Center and at Weatherford High School, and the Education Foundation’s A Taste for Education fundraiser.

Marilyn was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were done right. She built relationships with our staff and helped so many events run smoothly. More importantly, she was a huge part of our school community and touched the lives of many staff and students.

A celebration of her life will be on March 16 from 12pm-4pm at the Weatherford Ninth Grade Center.
