WHS Color Guard Director Ashton Beach said this was the group's first competition of the Winter Guard season.
The WHS Color Guard competes during the spring in the North Texas Color Guard Association circuit. Last year, the team won its division at the NTCA Championship.
Weatherford's next competition is Feb. 21 at Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland.
