How to receive text messages via the school's notification system

  • Text any one of the following words to the number 68453: subscribe  or optin or yes

You should then receive the following reply message:

You are registered to receive aprox 3 msgs/mo. Txt STOP to quit, HELP for help.

Only the cell phone numbers you have provided to Weatherford ISD and are eligible to receive text messages.  If you have recently changed cell phone numbers you will need to contact your child’s school so they can update your contact information.

  • Once WISD has a cell phone number on file for you, you should receive a one-time opt-in invitation SMS message. This is to comply with wireless carrier requirements and to protect you against unsolicited text messages.

The message you receive will be similar to the following:

“Weatherford Independent School District messages. Reply Y for aprx 3 msgs/mo. Txt HELP 4 info. Msg&data rates may apply. See schoolmessenger.com/tm”

So that you may receive important messages from the district, we encourage you to reply with Y  or  Yes  or  OPTIN  or  SUBSCRIBE when you receive this verification message.

You may opt out of all text messages from SchoolMessenger at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by visiting www.schoolmessenger.com/tm.

Reminder: Please remember that data rates may apply when sending and/or receiving texts from this service.
