The JV Roo's traveled to Arlington Heights to take on Arlington Heights in their own tournament. The Roo's fought hard but were done in by one bad inning, losing 6-1. Garrett Mendoza led the Roo's by going 2-3 with a double and a RBI, while Mike Nowak, Quaid Gunnells, and Donovan Clary each had one hit. Clary pitched 5 innings, striking out 5. Alex Mireles came in and finished out the game. The Roo's travel back to Heights tomorrow to take on the loser of the Brock/Keller Central game. The JV record now stands at 1-1.
