On Thursday, the Roos took on the host Paschal Panthers. The Roos built a five run lead, but Paschal capitalized on a couple of defensive miscues to come from behind and win 6-5. Preston Edison pitched four strong innings giving up no runs and striking out six. Trent Turrell had 2 RBI's and also scored a run.
On Friday, The Roos took on Crowley. Again, the Roos built a lead, but could not hold on losing 6-5. Cade Spooner pitched 4 innings, giving up only 1 run. Mason Zamarron, Preston Edison and Amon Pool each had a hit apiece.
In the second game, The Roos finally put a complete game together and came out with a 9-0 run-rule win against Western Hills. Demarcus Gratts had a double and 2 RBIs and Thomas Wise and Dylan Smith added hits as well. Trenton Turrell threw a complete game shutout with 9 strikeouts.
On Saturday, The Roos put the pressure on early in route to a 9-1 mercy-rule win against Joshua. The Roos capitalized on some defensive miscues by the Owls to build a 5-1 lead early. Thomas Wise, Cameron Williams, Trenton Turrell all had a hit apiece. Preston Edison and Mason Zamarron had 2 hits apiece. Jedd Cowan started on the mound and pitched 4 and 2/3 innings giving up 1 run and striking out 5.
In the second game, the Roos took on Arlington Heights. Heights came out on top 6-4. Amon Pool went 2 and 2/3 innings striking out 1. Thomas Wise came in relief and had 4 strikeouts.Dykan Smith and Amon Pool each had hits.
