The stage race consisted of three stages - each stage having to be completed to move to the next stage.
Hinton won the time trial stage by placing first on Feb. 15, Then, he followed with a first-place finish in the circuit race and a second-place finish in the road race on Feb. 16.
He is also racing in the Texas High School Cycling League (www.texashighschoolcycling.org) as a one-man team representing Weatherford High School and will do all the events in the race series.
