The Weatherford kangaroo’s won the Burleson Elks Classic for the 3rd straight year going 5-0-1. The Roo’s received excellent pitching and defense all weekend. The pitching staff was led by Beau Burrows, Connor Cranford, Andy Swain, and Cory Bynum. Leading hitters for the tournament was Tony Rodriguez, Spencer Hynes, Zach Rodriguez, Andrew Healy, and Nick Rodriguez. The Roo’s are now 9-1-1 for the season and open up district play Tuesday night at Arlington Bowie at 7:00.
