The JV Roo's lost an ugly game to Mesquite Poteet 8-6. The Roo's out hit the Poteet 7-3, but some shaky defense hurt the Roo's. Garrett Mendoza went 4 innings, striking out 4 and Quaid Gunnells pitched 1 inning, striking out 3. Mendoza, Mike Nowak, and Jackson Funderburk all had an RBI, while Logan Baldwin was 2-2. The Roo's travel back to Duncanville to take on South Grand Prairie.
