Weatherford Lady Roos JV beat Arlington High 5-1 in four innings on Tuesday night.
Sydney Johns brought the heat against Arlington High during her outing. Arlington High managed just one hit off of Johns, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during her three innings of work.
The Lady Roos JV didn't relinquish the lead after scoring five runs in the second inning when it scored on a groundout by Stephanie Gibbs who pitched late to save the win.
