Hinton has competed in several races this spring. In February, he placed first overall in the Junior Open Division of the Iris Stagner Memorial Stage Race in Mineral Wells. Two weeks ago, he participated in the Charter Reserve Stage Race. Hunter got second in the road race, first in the time trial, first in the criterium and won the overall General Category in the Junior Division.
Hinton currently is in second place overall in the JV division and is positioned to challenge for first place.
