Weatherford Lady Roos played in the very competitive Granbury Varsity Tournament this weekend and competed well. The Lady Roos took 3rd in our pool after splitting games with all competitors. We competed with everyone no matter the experience or talent level (which was awesome!). Saturday we beat Plainview swiftly in the first round of bracket play to go to the semi finals of the silver. The lady roos then matched up with Lake Dallas and lost a heartbreaker but played great! We were setup to play for 3rd in silver but a water pipe busted in Granbury and all afternoon games were canceled. Even though we didnt get the chance to place I'm super proud of our kids as they took every piece of adversity as a challenge and competed well. The lady roos are at Cleburne on Tuesday. Go Roos!
