Update on Seguin Elementary Relocation - February 1, 2019

We could not be more proud of our Seguin Elementary students, staff, and families! As you may have heard, a faulty cap on a sewer line resulted in a sewer gas leak at the campus this morning. As a result, students and staff were relocated to the Activity Center at the Ninth Grade Center.

Our thanks to the Weatherford ISD staff who quickly arrived at the NGC campus to help with the Reunification Process as parents arrived to pick up their children; the Child Nutrition department for providing water bottles, snacks, and lunches; and our Weatherford Police Department, Texas School Resource Officers for providing an added layer of security. It was truly a team effort, and as a result, the majority of students were reunited with their families in one hour.

School will resume at Seguin Elementary on Monday, February 4th.
