ESSER III Plan

The American Rescue Plan signed into law in March 2021 by President Joe Biden included $122 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country, which is the single largest investment in federal elementary and secondary education in the nation’s history.

Weatherford ISD will utilize these funds to accelerate learning and mitigate impact on student learning.

ESSER provides resources for:

• critical one-time investments;
• time-limited programming to respond to the pandemic;
• and innovation that can redefine student learning, acceleration, and development.

Weatherford ISD has an initial allocation of $5,925,236 and a remaining allocation of $2,962,618 for a total allocation of $8,887,854.
