SAT/ACT/AP Exam Accommodations

Can the Section 504 Committee ensure accommodations for the  ACT/SAT/AP Exams?

No. In order to receive accommodations on these assessments, students must go through the testing organization’s application process. The testing organization will  make independent determination of whether accommodations on college entrance exams will be permitted. If there  is a requirement for additional assessment data, it is the  responsibility of the parent/guardian to provide that data.  Public school systems are not responsible to provide  testing in order for students to apply for accommodations  on tests administered by other entities. Parents/guardians  should contact the campus counselor to start the application process.
