Volunteer Program
Our volunteers are the heart of our school district! We invite you to explore the following opportunities for volunteers at our campuses. Information about our program and answers to our most frequently asked questions may be found in the WISD Volunteer Handbook.
Our campuses offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including but not limited to:
Booster Clubs, Campus Workroom Support, Field Trips, Library, PTA, Room Parent, Student Mentoring, Tutoring, and Watch Dog Dads
How to become a WISD Volunteer
Volunteers will submit an application through our volunteer tracker program, App-Garden. Volunteers will be able to select schools and activities they are interested in volunteering for. Through App-Garden you will also be able to sign up for opportunities and log the number of hours you serve as a volunteer. Using the Log My Time feature in Volunteer Tracker, you will be amazed at the number of hours that you contribute to schools. Click the link below to register!
How to renew your volunteer status
The status of all approved volunteers will expire annually on July 31st. Current volunteers will receive an email to renew their application status at that time. You may click on the link below beginning August 1st to renew your volunteer status. The process to renew is quick and easy!
