Transition Services

Transition Services:

To assist students in making a successful transition from public school to adult living, the ARD Committee must address post-secondary goals beginning at the age of 14 year old. A coordinated set of activities and IEP objectives must be determined to help student reach these adult goals. Transition Services provide students, ages 14-22, individualized instruction to support transition into areas of adult community life, post-secondary education, vocational training, community participation, recreation and leisure, and independent living.
