When you donate to the Weatherford ISD Education Foundation, you’re investing in teachers, students, and programs that make learning come alive. Your generosity helps fund innovative classroom projects, provide books to our youngest students in Pre-K, school supplies and backpacks to students in need, and support teacher scholarships.

Giving Tuesday - December 2, 2025

Join our $25 for 25 Years Campaign on Giving Tuesday

On Giving Tuesday, we invite you to support our Heather's Book program by donating $25 to the WISD Education Foundation. Donations may be made online through the links listed below, or by mail. Your donation of $25 will provide 5-6 books for a Weatherford ISD Pre-K student.

About Heather's Books

In the fall of 2018, the Weatherford ISD Education Foundation added a new funding priority called Heather's Books. Launched in memory of Ikard Elementary teacher Heather Holland, this legacy program continues her dream of instilling a love of reading in children.

The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation gives each Pre-K student a $10 Heather's Books voucher to purchase books from their school's fall and spring book fairs.

Over 5,300 books have been provided to our youngest students to-date. More importantly, Heather's Books provides some of our students the opportunity to own their very first books.

Memorials/Honorariums/Matching Gifts/Planned Giving

Memorials and Honorariums

The Education Foundation is grateful to receive donations in honor or memory of a special person. When submitting your honorarium or memorial donation, please include the name of the person you are honoring along with the name and address of the person who should receive notification of your donation.

Matching Gifts

Ask your employer if they have a matching gifts program. Some companies will match your donation to the Education Foundation dollar for dollar, doubling your donation!

In person - come and see us at 1100 Longhorn Drive, Weatherford, TX 76086. Check in at the Receptionist's Desk and they'll point you in the right direction.
